I'm Jill Dalton, owner/operator of Cozy Home & Pet Care. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C. I have lived in  California, Greece, Hawaii, Maryland and now Florida. As you can see, I've lived all over and have been fortunate enough to always have my pets.

My brother and I always had a menagerie of pets. Everything from mice, hamsters, turtles, frogs, fish, birds, rabbits, ducks, baby chicks to horses. Thru the years, I've had many different breeds of dogs and cats.

I have enjoyed doing Pet Therapy for senior citizens and mentally challanged children.

My husband and I are very involved with our extended family, which consists of KeKe, a Maine Coon cat found in the giveaway section of the newspaper (lucky for us). Poogie, our precious four and a half year old Shih Tzu, adopted thru a newspaper ad, Also. in April of 2010, we adopted an adorable Westie named Oliver. They are all an integral part of our life.

We are very grateful to live a few blocks away from our daughter, son-in-law and  grandson. Our son lives in Maryland. Fortunately, for us, he visits often.  Shussy, our daughter's Shih Tzu, is my one and only "granddog". I take care of her whenever needed. 

I've cared for so many animals in the past that I decided to start my own business because of my deep love and passion for animals. I'm an animal welfare advocate. Being an animal welfare advocate means that you respect, value, and believe in the humane treatment of animals and their inherent right to life.

I was influenced by my niece in Maryland, who owns a successful pet sitting and doggie day care business.
