I'm Jill Dalton, owner/operator of Cozy Home & Pet Care LLC. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C. I have lived in  California, Greece, Hawaii, Maryland and now Florida.

As you can see, I've lived all over and have been fortunate enough to always have my pets.

My brother and I always had a menagerie of pets. Everything from mice, hamsters, turtles, frogs, fish, birds, rabbits, ducks, baby chicks to horses. Our dogs, though, were always my favorites and so special to me. Growing up, we had a Collie, Jock, and two German Shepherds, Mickey and Kim. Thru the years, I've had many different breeds of dogs and cats.

I have enjoyed doing Pet Therapy for senior citizens and mentally challanged children.

 I am very involved with my "babies". Poogie, my precious six year old Shih Tzu was adopted thru a newspaper ad.  In April of 2010, I adopted our handsome, Westie, Oliver, who is now 10. They are both an integral part of my life.

I am very grateful to live a few blocks away from our daughter, son-in-law and  grandson. My son lives in Maryland. Fortunately, for me, he visits often.  Shussy, our daughter's Shih Tzu, is my one and only "granddog". I take care of her whenever needed.

I've cared for so many animals in the past that I decided to start my own business because of my deep love and passion for animals. I'm an animal welfare advocate.  I respect, value, and believe in the humane treatment of animals and their inherent right to life.
